Already a well known industry leader and one of the most respected engineering firms in Houston, Costello's website needed a complete redesign to better meet the needs of its users. Prospective clients needed to quickly find information on Costello's capabilities and initiate contact for the bidding process to begin. Prior to updating, this information was difficult to reach and caused confusion about the level of engineering services that Costello provided to those who didn't know them by reputation previously. With extensive improvements made to the navigation and page layouts, users found information faster and more projects were awarded as a result.

SEO/MOBILE CHALLENGE
Costello needed a website that was mobile friendly and optimized for search simultaneously. Previously, their website was difficult to use on mobile devices and hard to find by their most valuable potential clients in online searches. As many of their engineering services were being searched for by users in the field on mobile devices, their website was built specifically to render on mobile quickly and easily. Special attention was also given to their page content being search friendly causing an increase in organic visits each month. The increase in traffic resulted in more online conversions and new deals!

The previous website was also failing to properly bring out the true capabilities of Costello leading to confusion on service capabilities and industry experience. For an engineering firm, this was crucial to not only correct, but showcase in their new site. As a result, each page was designed to provide users with a project library based on the particular engineering service. These changes also included providing contact information for each specific project engineer in charge of those service areas. Once these changes were in place, user engagement rose and Costello's reputation for being an industry leader was further enhanced. Today, they remain as one of the first choices of municipalities and large scale civil users in the greater Houston area and beyond.
