How to Double Your Sales in One Year

Doubling sales in one year may not be possible for big corporations like Apple, but it's actually a very attainable goal for small businesses. In this blog, we'll explain the steps you should take to work towards that goal:

Focus on your brand

Yes, your products and services are important, and you'll get to them later, but people care more about who they're doing business with. Before you sell your products, you need to sell yourself.

But since we're talking about your business, you need to focus on its brand. Consider your brand values and personality and try to add an emotional appeal to your business.

Use analytics to better understand your sales process

To be frank, most businesses don't have a clue as to what's going on in the sales process. That's because they're not looking at the right analytics.

You can get access to these analytics with marketing software. Then, you'll start to figure out how exactly you're generating leads, why they're not converting, and where they're getting stuck in the sales process.

Convert the most profitable leads first

Some leads are more profitable than others. If you're trying to double sales from one year to the next, then you need to convert the most profitable prospects first. Only then should you move on to the people who need more attention and resources to buy something.

Create new landing pages for your site

Many businesses are due for a website redesign, but if you don't have time for that at the moment, then at least consider getting new landing pages. A good landing page should offer something of value -- an ebook, research, etc. -- in exchange for a lead's contact information. Users will be directed to the landing page when they come from social media, a PPC ad, or Google's organic search results.

We never said it would be easy, but doubling your sales in a year is possible if you play your cards right. Have questions? We are here to help.
